ISTT holds a workshop on “Attracting Foreign Investment”

Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT) held a workshop on the 28th of Feb, 2017 to introduce the services that Iran’s Organization for Economic Investment and Technical Assistance (OIETAI) under the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance, can provide to the knowledge- based companies settled at ISTT.
This workshop benefited from the expertise and knowhow of OIATAI’s Deputy General Director of the Foreign Investment Office, Akbar Gharemani and Head of Marketing and Investment Opportunities, Moretza Bahrami Asad.
Amongst the subjects discussed during the workshop were the legislation of new laws that support the attraction of foreign investment to Iran and the settled companies of ISTT, including the ability to fully register foreign companies in Iran. It was announced that this registration could greatly reduce the risks of investing in Iran for foreign companies, whilst also providing incentives in the form of visa support, extended foreign worker permits, tax reliefs, etc.
A Q&A session was then held with the participation of the OIETAI members in which the opportunity was given to the participants of the workshop to ask any remaining questions.
